For this 3d model I chose to create a single French Horn in 3ds Max. The model is made out of a total of 15 splines, 2 circles splines, 7 cylinders and 3 modified cylinders.

ARTD 232 Typographical Gallery Show Invitation and Poster

 For this assignment I had to choose an Artist from a list and create an invitational postcard and a poster for that artist's art show. The postcard and poster had to match the artists style and appear like they had made it. The postcard and poster had to look similar, but not be the same design.

I chose H.N. Werkman a German screen printer and typographer. The most famous of his works being a series of screen printed type called "The Next Call".

For this illustration I chose to have the alligator tell his story about the officers shooting him. This illustration is in the style of Peter Sinclair .

CGT 251 Children's Book

 For this assignment I was to create a themed alphabet book for little kids. I chose the theme of American made cartoons. I then decided that I would do a scene from a cartoon that started with that letter. Once I chose the scene I took a snapshot of the scene and then traced the characters in Adobe Illustrator for the most detail. I then simplified the background. I would then write a little of the dialog to better help the reader understand what's going on in the scene.

These designs come from scenes in shows belonging to Disney, Warner Brothers, and Cartoon Network.

For this design I had to create an illustration of an endangered Indian animal in the style of Rocco Baviera (http://www.roccobaviera.com/). I chose the endangered Loggerhead Shrike. This illustration took a total of 13 hours to complete.

This was my first assignment for CGT 112. I had to create a storyboard showing a jogger and a rollerblader entering a park. From there the jogger meets a couple walking a dog while the blader knocks over a trash can. As the jogger continues his jog he accidentally trips the blader sending him into a bench.

For this design I had to choose a principle of design and make a image representing that design principle. I chose balance as my principle of design. My goal was to balance the size of the positive space with the negative space.

This assignment was to redesign an existing website and make it better. I chose to redesign the Jamba Juice website. I used Photoshop to create this webpage design and found the images online. For the background I lowered the opacity of the image of a smoothie and the company's logo. I also used the same colors as the company logo.

This design was done for a Fotolia contest. They provided 9 images and asked the contestants to combine a total of three images to make a new photo. The contest was called One Cat, One Fruit, One Clock.

For this design I took an old photo of my dad and made it a gray scale image. I then used the levels tool to add some contrast. Then I used the text tool and wrote the all the positive thing that described him. after that I wrapped the text to his face to make it blend in with the contours of his face and suit.

For this design I used Photoshop to combine two different images into one. The base image is the shot of Earth and Mars with a satellite and the other image is the cosmic explosion. I added a shadow to the Earth with the air brush tool and a low opacity of black. I also used a mask to make some spots of the base image and top image blend more.
